African Travel Crew captured the soul of Papendorp and Ebenhaezer beautifully.

Visit Papendorp and explore the Olifantsriver Estuary, enjoy Birdwatching (one of SA’s most spectacular RAMSAR birding sites) or find yourself at the Labyrinth of Memories. Be more adventurous and take your Stand up paddle or canoe and explore the canals of the Olifants River mouth. If you are lucky you can experience a true weskus catch of the day by local fishermen! Papendorp also forms part of the Viswater MTB Trail.

One of the oldest towns in the district, Ebenhaezer was founded by the Rhenish Missionary Society as a mission station in 1834. Ebenhaezer boasts a strong farming community with lucerne and bean fields adorning much of the pastoral landscape.
